Pictures???

I've uploaded some images to my post but they don't seem to appear, not even in preview mode. Gosh, I wonder why. Hope it's a temporary glitch.

"You are my soul, soul"

They sing, they dance, they act, and more importantly, they're really good at everything they do. Truly are super idols. The group is called "Arashi" which means "storm" in Japanese language. They're among the many talented Japanese guys under Johnny's Entertainment in Japan. This awesome group debuted ten years ago and is still going strong. Consisting of five members, they never fail to captivate fans from around the world, not only with their admirable looks, but also with their personalities. Pretty much all of Johnny's boys are like that.

What is up & down

I guess it's really not an easy task for some people (like me) to do what they have been intending to do for quite a while. Busy...busy...busy...!!! The worse part is, it'll be a lot busier and harder when I'm already employed in the future. Let's just take it a little easy now, OK. Well, in case you're wondering what on earth I'm talking about, it's just about me not being able to keep this poor blog of mine up-to-the-minute (or maybe day). From now onwards, I'll try to actually keep it updated enough but I can't promise anything.

Maybe I'll re-start my blog-posting now by briefly stating what I've been up to (though I know some of you couldn't care any less ^-^). Let's see...

April 2008:
  • I successfully completed my Matriculation studies in Labuan Matriculation College (LMC). Didn't get CGPA 4.0 though T-T. I felt kind of worried that I might not have good enough options for courses in tertiary education.
  • The second phase of the public institution application had to be settled online. After making my indecisive decision (?), I put health sciences as the top courses of my choice. I tried not to keep my hopes high. It was a serious matter.
June 2008:
  • The result of university applications was out. I wasn't too eager to figure out what course I'd be getting and where. (Whatever, right?) Guess how it turned out to be.
July 2008:
  • So, there I was...stepping my foot to the life in university. Funny enough, my university is rather near to my house as it's in my town. (Yay!!!) Still, I stay in the dormitory and go back home on certain weekends and holidays. Orientation weeks.....again. It was quite fun, though, especially when we got to perform together to represent our faculty. I've always been fond to performing, anyways. Still a little shy ^0^
August 2008 - Now:
  • Studying, examinations, extra-activities..... I'll tell more about them when I feel like it some other time.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, I'm now a devoted fangirl of JPop, particularly Johnny's. It all started with a "storm". Then it got to me even more each day. I'm even starting to learn a new foreign language on my own because of it.

It's been months...!!

Whoa...I haven't posted any new post for a long time now. In fact, I haven't visited any blog sites for that long. It's been crazy...with all the things I need to learn and do. Well, I'll try to keep up with Blogspot every now and then from now. I've got lots to say but just not many chances to express them.

C ya! God bless!

When You’re Stressed Out

Dear the-one-who's-reading,

If the heat is really on and you've got no escape from the kitchen, don't sweat (even more). Got it? LOL. Hilarious hilarious. Alright, you know, I know, you can't be stressed out for too long. Let's stop this.

Firstly, make yourself a cup of warm drink. Whatever you like. It won't just calm you for at least a second but it would also fill your stomach without you having to dig in some junk food. Feeling stressed is one of the reasons people indulge in such thing uncontrollably.

Secondly, put some concealer around your pretty eyes. Guys or girls, go for it. You need it but if you haven't got any, try something else that you think will work. Don't let those eye bags ruin your self-esteem.

Thirdly, a little exercise will also help. Stretching tightens up your muscles and makes you feel oh so good. Maybe a little yoga but not the whole thing. Of course, don't forget to do the breathing routine.

Fourthly, let go of what's been stressing you. What fits you more? Writing it down on a piece of paper? Texting it on your cell but never send it? Posting in on your blog? Talking to yourself in your room?

Fifthly, gaze at the picture of your fav person. Celeb, family or friend. Or maybe yourself. Look at him or her in the eyes. Tell that person telekinetically that you'll stay strong for him or her. A picture's worth a thousand words. Make yourself feel better by knowing that you are indeed strong enough.

You've got this in your hand. Scream out loud anytime and I'll listen with pleasure. The people around you will have to too.

When You’re Angry

Dear the-one-who's-reading,

If something or someone successfully gets on your last nerve, save it for now. You'll need to be calm and rational enough to do as stated below. Give it a try, won't you?

Firstly, go to a place where you're the only one there. No one should see what you're about to do. They may hear it but not see it. Express your agitation on the non-living things you see nearby. Note that you've got to do it in control. There's no need to cause permanent damages around unless it's your own item and you really don't mind.

Secondly, give yourself a splash of cold clean water on the face. It can literally cool you down a bit. Dry your cute face and reapply whatever needs to be reapplied.

Thirdly, it's time to cool down the inside of you. What better and faster way to do so than having a cold drink. Water is after all one of humans' basic needs. Just FYI, cold drinks aren't healthy but it's not healthy to be healthily healthy all the time, right? BTW, ice-cream will do too.

Fourthly, entertain yourself with what you've always enjoyed. TV? Cinema? Video games? Computer games? MP3? Horseback riding? Exercise the muscles around your mouth by smiling or giggling your fun-having time. It's okay to even fake it for this time.

Fifthly, give yourself a treat. Spend some money for it, that is. Buy one thing you want but don't need. Make sure you have enough money to pay for it. It won't cause harm to spend a little more than usual. It's for good cause. Just don't starve later.

Don't be angry for long. Get over it 'cos you're the best! *wink*

When You’re Excited

Dear the-one-who's-reading,

If you're really excited for some reason at this current moment, read on. Forgive me for being a party-pooper but I have to tell you that your little celebration might be cut short if you don't deal with it right. So, consider taking these steps, pretty please.

Firstly, what the heck. Let your excitement run free for just a moment. Scream out but cover your face with a pillow or a bag. Jump up high but do it where you're the only visible living being in the distance of two meters around you. Punch yourself but make sure it's firm yet gentle enough. Not for too long, though.

Secondly, get a glass or a bottle of plain water. Drink it and enjoy every gulp. If you happen to need to go to the washroom after that, then go.

Thirdly, take a look at your reflection. See anything that can look better? If so, fix it in a brief. Remember though that looks aren't everything. They just need to be taken care of now and then.

Fourthly, go to a quiet and private space. Cross your fingers and say something like "Thank you for this. I must make sure I won't waste it and regret it later. Please let it be fun and safe at the same time." Mean what you say. No pressure.

Fifthly, share it with your BFF or JF or SO. Pretty much anyone. If you're at glee about it, they will be too. Make use of the phone and internet. Don't let technology be known for its hazards only.

It's great that you're so glowing with joy. Take it easy 'cos you don't want to be OTT, do you? Nothing lasts forever, some people say, but you can make the memory last a lifetime.
